Stay True to Your Beliefs, Sail Toward the Future

Since its founding, SDG Group has always upheld the belief in “Reliable Partners, Sustainable Development.” I have always believed that for a business to stand firm and go far, success depends not only on strategy and execution but, more importantly, on the power of belief and culture.

Building on this philosophy, I have announced the launch of the ABC Plan, which clarifies responsibilities and provides clear direction for action. From top to bottom, from inside out, we aim to harness the power of our drivers, establish a systematic and inheritable framework, and guide the group toward the future.
Plan A: I will lead by example, personally making decisions and driving initiatives.
Plan B: The “Five Great Generals” team will oversee execution, with the Group Function Committee Chair continuing my Plan A.
Plan C: The Group Function Committee Chair will guide functional conveners to jointly advance initiatives.

In September 2025, I led our management team on a cultural roots-seeking journey. This trip was not merely a visit but a process of learning and reflection. From the ancestral Lin family’s Bi Gan Temple, to China’s retail benchmark Pangdonglai, to the Shaolin Temple, and finally to the world cultural heritage site Longmen Grottoes, we engaged in an exchange of ideas focused on human-centered management and sustainable development.

At Bi Gan Temple, our team not only traced our roots but also experienced the loyalty of Bi Gan, who “offered his heart in admonition.” His spirit resonates with our culture of good intentions. Since its founding, we have upheld the mission of being “Your Reliable Power Partner,” earning recognition in the market through integrity and responsibility. I often share with our team that for a business to achieve sustainable development, it must not only inherit the traditional value of integrity, but also embrace innovation that evolves with the times. Only by continuously challenging ourselves to innovate on a solid cultural foundation can brand-led public welfare and corporate spirit truly transcend generations.

During my visit to Pangdonglai, I observed a management philosophy deeply rooted in people-first values and trust as its foundation. I believe that only when employees feel secure can customers truly experience sincerity. At the same time, this also led me to reflect on whether such a model can be successfully replicated in first-tier cities, where market conditions and cost structures are vastly different. Core values must remain steadfast, but strategies must be adapted to local realities.

As inscribed on the stone tablet at MEAN WELL headquarters:"The setting sun reveals a beaten path on the mountain today. With integrity and sincerity, business is sure to prosper." Generations will change, markets will evolve, but as long as we uphold unwavering belief and perseverance, we can continue to stride toward excellence. This cultural roots-seeking journey is not the end, but a new beginning. SDG Group will continue to center sustainable development, driving brand-led public welfare and guiding our trusted partners toward a new horizon.
